Work Permit Renewal Form

We're happy you decided to stay. Keep up the good work!

Instructions for Renewal Form BVI Work Permit Applicants

Our BVI Work Permit Renewal Form is much simpler and faster than the New Work Permit application process. This process ensures a non-belonger authorisation to remain employed in the British Virgin Islands. The form consists of 3 documents instead of 5 for new permits. Labour department fees will vary based on an employee's salary. The Labour Department claims on http://www.bvi.gov.vg/services/work-permit-renewal2 that the turn around time is only 14 days. If you asked anyone who has gone through this process, you should submit your form for approval 8 - 10 weeks in advance just to be safe. Keep in mind that if your existing work permit expires before your renewal is approved, you will have to get an extension and pay a $25 fee to BVI Immigration Department.

IMPORTANT! Ignore at your own peril.

Please do not leave any question blank. If a question does not apply to you, insert "not applicable" or "N/A" in the space provided. Applications printed double sided on cardstock or coloured paper, with blank spaces, and/or without original employee and employer signatures will not be accepted. The name of the employer listed on the application must coincide with the company name listed on the trade license.BVI LABOUR DEPARTMENT
